Just updating my case in case someone is going through same situation and need help.
I mailed the two pictures that they requested on June 2nd, as today, my online status hasn't change, still says: Request of evidence sent, case placed on hold.
I made an INFOPASS appointment last friday and I just came back from talking with an immigration agent. They will expedite my I-131 for free, they said they normally do it within 30 days but he liked me and he said he was going to try to get in just 5 days.
He said he sent a request thought their intranet to the TEXAS SERVICE CENTER, they should be calling me if they need anything, if not, they will send me the TRAVEL DOCUMENT right away.
I'll keep you all posted!

This kind of happened to me. Got the AP approval email then after 4 days got EAD approval email. Got EAD card in the mail a week after that.
And surprisingly got AP in mail a whole week after that. Looking at the AP
envelope it was postmarked after the EAD card was actually put in mail.
So it might be that your AP is on its way. But 30 days sounds a lot of
time. I would try and talk to the customer service and open a SR.

The only question i have is, my employer though a bank, is not willing to give me a copy of my I140 WHATSOEVER. I tried numerous times and they only say that the attorney (FRAGOMEN) has advised not to give the copy of I140 to the beneficiary. With the banks you know..they may be around or shut any time.
Can you please advise, COPY OF I140 IS REQUIRED, for porting the priority date to new employer?

Very easy. No need to file new 485 or CP. Interfile, by sending the copy of new 140 approval notice to your pending 485. Requset them to consider your latest approved Eb2-140 as a underlying immigrart visa petition for your pending 485. Ofcourse, you need a latest employment offer letter from the original sponser when requesting the change.
However, this may require aggressive follow up with USCIS.

I am trying to understand if this would help much as it has no legal baring and is worth spending the $. My funds are limited and have to choose wisely without jeopardizing my chances... :o

Did you send two separate checks for 485 or did you combine them into one? How many LIN numbers did you see on the back of the check for 485?
I had sent one combined cheque for EAD. My company had sent a seperate cheque for 485. I just sw my EAD cheque encashed today and it has two LIN numbers (I presume one for me and one for my wife). Not sure about 485 cheques since my company had sent them.

while porting the Job through AC 21 one have to keep in mind that USCIS have not brought any regulation to date, though occasionally there are some chatter from AILA that USCIS will bring it pretty soon. After porting the job and regulation is passed, it will be applied retroactively and in some case could seriously affect those AC 21 cases that do not meet the regulation strictly. I have seen in several post from each person about risk in getting RFE after porting the job, but never consider the potential impact of any regulation passed by USCIS(yeah we know these guys are too lazy :)

If I were to file EB2 now,
1. Can I use ads done for somebody else, to save time.
2. Should the ad in the paper say "Masters needed, or Bachelors + 5 years".
Is this point 2 very important in the ad itself.

The cutoff date for EB2, India, retrogressed by two additional years, to January 1, 2000. Spoke with a lawyer - he said have a letter from my company saying i was training our indian vendor and now returning back to resume work in US. Also have proof/documents that shows my US company exists and a verification letter from them.
My question is (i forgot to ask him) what sort of documents i need from my company which shows the company exists - i dont think my company will give out its Tax Returns. What other documents should i ask for?

Yes, thats good news specially for the applicants in that region. In my opinion applicants from MP and Karnataka and AP will fall into that region I guess though not sure but just my 2 cents. Right now they just opened the office but I dont think they will be fully functional till mid-december 2008.

Your Emp A may say anything, but if he revokes your I-140 before you file AC-21, then you will be in trouble. It is always safe to file CA-21

Nope. My lawyer did a mistake to correct himself he applied though dates were not current.
What do you think now? any suggestion.
I would think that you did not file at all.
If the PD was not current at the time of the first submission they should not even cash the check with the fee.
