    i'm no pro, but i think the first is much better then the second. the framing of the image is a bit off, but to me that's what makes the image.

    There's no right or wrong really, just some de facto rules or guidelines - sometimes an image can be more interesting if those rules are broken. I guess it comes down to personal taste.

    Hello,

    I got a notice today saying that my H1B withdrawal notice has been sent on Sep9th (today).

    My new employer applied LCA yesterday (09.08.2009) for my H1B transfer.

    What is my status now? can I transfer H1B to new company?

    Is my old H1B revoked?

    what is my next step to do to stay as legal immigrant?

    :confused:My company has filed my I-485 and not EAD/AP on July 20th.

    I want to file EAD/AP on my own using old forms and old fees before August 17th.

    I would like to know if I can send it NSC where I-485 was filed or as per the new instructions given for direct filing effec July 30th as per new forms.

    Can I file without recieving I-485 receipt by just using Fedex Receipt and Copy of the cheque sent. As this point the cheque is not cleared and I have not received any receipt.

    Does the filing with Fedex option is for people who have filed after July 17th?

    I just received an email from USCIS saying that my I-140 has been denied. I touched base with the attorney & she has not yet received any documentation from USCIS. This has been the 1st change in my status since Aug 07. My case is pending at TSC.

    Does anyone know if this is a fairly common occurance for USCIS to deny I-140 without an RFE? Any advise on what to do next?

    Hi, Everyone,
    Any idea how long it takes to get 485 approved. I applied on EB1. My I-140 was approved in Jan07. Any idea about FBI check I mean Background check,Name check and other checks.....how much time it takes....
    And in case if it stck where it could be and how to check the status of that stuck??????????????/
    Can any one tell me how to check the status of my application or name chack with FBI.Where to call, whats the number and what to ask there etc etc....and other related questions


    I'll appreciate your suggestions and reply.

    Yes. Perm Resi Card is your green card. You need H1B OR EAD OR GC/Citizenship to work.

    Once you become citizen then you do not need GC. You will get US passport which is good enough for work/Travel.

    GC is like super user so you can work for any employer in the USA.

    I am surprised with your knowledge about GC but it is better to know sooner than later. Regards.

    I got tired of searching for appointments myself on the NVARS website and signed up with XVARS instead. Lets see if they deliver. I picked Toronto between 12/07 and 12/20 so hoping they find me my appointment. Will post an update again soon.

    Hi,
    I am Indian citizen residence in USA.
    In my appointment letter I saw State of Residence:Tamil Nadu.
    I didnt select this option.How this information came to my appointment letter.:confused:
    I selected the option before taking appointment.... Indian Citizen Residence in USA.
    Is there any chance to change that.My appointment date is with in one week.
    Do i have to call anybody regarding this.
    Pls tell to me any other options regarding this.

    Dont worry man..even the same happened in my case. No need to sweat too much on this.

    Sorry folks, the question may have been asked before.

    Does I-140 have to be approved before using AC21? In my case, I140 has been pending for 1 year now, but got EAD recently.

    If I use AC21 to move to a new job in 6 months, can employer pull out the I-140 ?

    Any workarounds?

    I (and my spouse as dependent) applied for I-485, AP, and EAD on July 17, 07 and am yet to get the receipt notice. My (and my spouse's) H-1 expires on 12/31/07 and I plan to travel out of the US between November 8 and December 24.

    In case, the I-485 receipt notice does not come before we leave, would we be considered as having abandoned the PR application? Any idea how long it might take for the receipt notice to come for people in my shoes?

    I'm positive, you can very much travel!!

    i know what you're talking about - this obsession w/pre-adjudication is ridiculous!i for one support dismantling the current vb based 485 filing lottery system that utterly makes no sense whatsover! let people file 485 as and when 140 is approved and get rid of this cynical vb based filing -
